Mutual of Omaha — Amount of coverage ranges from $2,000 to $40,000. Also has an Accidental Death rider that doubles the payout in the case of an accidental death. Has an A+ rating from both A.M. Best and the Better Business Bureau.

Prosperity — Coverage is available from $1,500 to $35,000. It too has an Accidental Death rider that doubles the payout in the case of an accidental death. Has an A- rating from A.M. Best and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Royal Neighbors — You can apply for benefits between $5,000 and $25,000. Has an A- rating from A.M. Best and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

TransAmerica — Benefits range from $1,000 to $50,000. Accidental Death rider is available. It doubles the payout in the case of an accidental death. Has an A+ rating from A.M. Best and an A- rating from the Better Business Bureau.
